It is very difficult to have stuff delivered in this country because most people (including me) don't have actual addresses and there is no mail delivery service. Additionally, just about everything gets detained at Customs and there's generally a duty charged of at least 100% of the cost of the item you're receiving, plus taxes and other fees.

I am now also looking for an Indian community here for a friend, who has some ancient technique performed to remove hair from her eyebrows--I think it's called "threading", so I promised to ask here for her.

I'm guessing no one will know of an Indian community here, but if someone does I'd really appreciate your letting me know about it!
